Carlton “Carter” Brewer, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away December 30, 2021. He was 71 years old.
Anative of Lumberton, North Carolina, Carter enjoyed gardening and lawn care. He also enjoyed tinkering and visiting with his friends in his garage. He loved to talk about his Ford truck, shoot pool, play pinball and drinking Miller Lite.
Carlton was preceded in death by mother, Mazelle Brewer Brooks; and siblings, Carol Hunt, Murray Brewer, David Earl Brewer and Betty Jones.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia “Molly” Brewer; children, Rhonda Guidera (Michael) and Carlton Ray Brewer (Angie); grandchildren, Brandon Brewer, Brittany Roig (Nicholas), Carlton Michael Brewer, Felicia Mills (Ryan) and Emiley Brewer; and great-grandchildren, Raylan Roig, Bryson Roig, Raven Mills, Rayne Mills, Tiberius Brewer and Theo Brewer. Carter is also survived by his siblings, Earl Jacobs, James Brewer, Eugene Jacobs (Edwinna), Margaret Locklear (Buddy), Rozell Brewer and Vanessa Paul (Frankie); and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Carlton will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Monday, January 3, 2022, at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, North Carolina, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Entombment is private.
