Carmine Santopuoli

Carmine G. Santopuoli, 89, of Jeannette, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at his residence. He was born July 13, 1934, in Riccia Italy, a son of the late Giuseppe and Filomena Iapalucci Santopuoli. Prior to his retirement Carmine was employed by the former Jeannette Sheet Glass Co., the Colonna Construction Co. of Jeannette, and the Artistic Pools Co. in Harrison City. He was a member of the Ascension Church Jeannette. Carmine enjoyed working in his vegetable gardens, and was very skillful when it came to taking care of his fig trees.

In addition to his parents Carmine was predeceased by his wife Concetta (Ciccaglione) Santopuoli; and a brother Daniele Santopuoli.

He is survived by his daughters, Antenette Santopuoli, of Jeannette, and Josephina Ranier and husband Francis, of Greensburg; grandchildren, Stefanie Polo and husband Ethan, and Steven Ranier and wife Phoebe; a great grandson Roman Polo; a brother Donato Santopuoli and wife Carmella of Italy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no public visitation. A funeral mass was celebrated in the Ascension Church Jeannette, and entombment followed in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park, Hempfield Twp. The John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Jeannette are assisting the family with arrangements.
