Carol Ritenour Kenneth Marquis, born June 20, 1943, passed on to eternal life on July 1, 2026. She was a graduate of Hurst High School, Norvelt, PA class of 1961. Carol enjoyed gardening, and any outdoor activities. She was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant where she spent summers in her home there and wintered in Flagler Beach, FL. In Florida Carol acquired many close friends and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Survivors include her sister, Janice (Robert) Weimer, Nephew R. Douglas (Karen) Weimer, 3 great nieces, Alicia, Cate and Sofia Weimer. Niece Jennifer (Stormy) Gleason, and many cousins. Also surviving is her companion Yorkie, Chloe, the love of her life. Besides her father Bryce E Ritenour and Mother Betty Ruth Keener, she was preceded in death by her husbands, David Kenneth and Richard Marquis.
Visitation Thursday, July 9, 2026 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM in SLATER-REGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES INC. 730 W Main Street Mt Pleasant. Burial will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
