Carole R. Wagoner, 80, of Willow Brook Lane, Bedford, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at UPMC Altoona.
She was born on July 2, 1941, in Alum Bank; daughter of the late, William D. and Marie V. (Koterba) Ritter.
On December 30, 1961, she married Donald P. Wagoner in Johnstown.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dolores (late Robert) Dull; and Mary (late Loyd D.) Hershburger; son-in-law, Fred Heming; brother-in-law, Wayne Earnest; sister-in-law, A. Aldine College.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Heming of Schellsburg; three grandchildren, Jason Heming of Pittsburgh; Megan Rogers of Schellsburg; Rachel Heming of Schellsburg; two great-grandchildren, Octavious Lewis and Quintus Rogers; sister, Janet (Tom) Donaldson of Johnstown; sister-in-law, Anna Earnest of Schellsburg; brother-in-law, Don College of Schellsburg; and her dear friends Mid Heming and Bev Talyen.
Carole was a woman of many interests and talents. She enjoyed watching dog shows, ice skating, NASCAR, and football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. She liked working outside and feeding the birds in her yard. Carole shared her love of games and cards with her family who she played with often. Always adventurous, she loved taking trips to Pittsburgh to sightsee and visit her grandson. She loved her family and friends very much and always helped them anyway that she could. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Kendra Balliet officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Interment will be at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
