Carolyn Ann Ryan

Carolyn Ann (Carr) Ryan, 80, of Ridgeley, died December 6, 2021 at Complete Care at Dawnview.
Born November 25, 1941 in Ridgeley, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Susan (Decker) Carr.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” A. Ryan, Sr.; a son, Bill Turner; and siblings, Wallace “Archie” Carr, Glenn Carr, Betty Lee Carr, and Vivian Miller.
Carolyn had been an LPN at Cumberland Nursing Home for over 30 years, providing compassionate care to the residents. She had also been a private duty sitter.
Carolyn attended services at Fresh Start Ministries.
Among the survivors are sons, Glenn Turner, John Turner, Thomas Turner, and Charles A. Ryan, Jr.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on
Thursday from noon until 1 PM. The funeral service will follow at 1 PM, with Pastor Harry Copen, officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
