Carrie Ellis

Carrie M. Ellis, age 39, passed away on July 18, 2024. Born in Lancaster, Carrie was the daughter of the late Bruce E Swinehart and Jackie (Howell) Swinehart.
A graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School, Carrie went on to work and had a career of over 17 years with Goodwill Keystone Area. A devout Christian, she was a member of Lancaster Alliance Church.
In addition to her mother and step father Rick Paparo. Carrie is survived by her husband, James S. Ellis, Jr.; her sisters: Faith Swinehart Lewis (wife of Jeremy) and Rebecca Gonzalez (wife of Lucas); a sister by heart Nicole Hess (wife of Bob); her brother by heart David Doyle (husband of Tabitha); her mother-in-law Dottie Ellis; her beloved fur babies Grizzly and Chianne as well as numerous family members.
In addition to her father, Carrie is preceded in death by her father in law, James S. Ellis, Sr. and her fur baby Arianna.
Family will receive friends, Friday July 26, 2024 at Lancaster Alliance Church, 210 Pitney Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601 from 10am to 11am with a service to begin at 11am. Burial to follow at Conestoga Memorial Park.
