Charles F. McCoid
May 20, 1935 - February 2, 2021 (Age 85)
Charles F. McCoid, 85 of Keatchie, Louisiana formerly of Zanesville, OH, passed away February 2, 2021.
He was born May 20, 1935 in Zanesville, son of the late Francis McCoid and Mary Bell Cannon McCoid. He retired from Zanesville Memorial Park after 27 years, served 12 years in the Ohio National Guard and was a member of the Coburn United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Sharrie (Preston) Booker of Louisiana, Shary (M.J.) Oldham of Texas, Sharon Corbin of Texas; sisters, Rose Wright, Carol Rickett; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances V. Wisecarver McCoid; son Jerry McCoid; brother Ronald McCoid; sister Beverly Bolyand.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM Monday June 14, 2021 at Zanesville Memorial Park with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating.
