Charles R. Malone

Charles Robert "Bob Malone, 93, of Lakewood Manor, Bedford, PA passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at home.
Mr. Malone was born on May 20, 1928, in Mercersburg, PA, son of the late Charles J. Malone and Cora E. (Keyser) Malone.
On July 11, 1958, Charles married Hazel V. (Keifer) Malone.
He is survived by daughter- Patricia Welsh, Bedford; son- Mike E. husband of Jill (Daubert) Malone, Daytona Beach, FL.; grandchildren- Jesse husband of Kylee (Morgart) Welsh, Bedford and Jason Welsh, Bedford and two great grandchildren- Harrison and Jocelyn. Charles was preceded in death by brother Ronald Malone and sister Mazie Malone.
Mr. Malone served his country in the US Army where he was a Parachutist.
He was employed by Bedford Springs for 37 years as a Bellman.
Charles was a life member of Bedford Ambulance. Mr. Malone was a blood donor with the Red Cross for many years.
Charles enjoyed talking with everyone. He had such a warm and inviting smile that touched many lives. Charles will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Bedford County Memorial Park at 11:00AM with Pastor John Bennett officiating.
