Christian Jon' Henderson

November 18, 1980 – April 18, 2026 (Age 45)

Christian Jon’ Henderson, 45, of Charlotte, passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2026, at his home.

Born in Charlotte on November 18, 1980, Christian grew up with a sharp mind, a gentle spirit, and a curiosity that shaped the way he moved through the world. He graduated from Harding High School before continuing his education at Central Piedmont Community College, where he earned an Associate Degree in Spanish. His love for languages and helping others led him to serve as a Spanish tutor at CPCC, where he made a meaningful impact on countless students. He also worked with UPS.

Christian had a quiet but vibrant personality, expressed through the things he loved. He enjoyed watching TV—especially anime, Japanese cartoons, and science fiction—and he had a deep appreciation for music. When outdoors, he found joy in fireworks, local sports, and cheering on football teams. These simple pleasures brought him peace and connection, and those who knew him will remember the comfort of sharing those moments with him.

Christian is survived by his mother, Sylvia Henderson of Charlotte; his father and stepmother, Donald and Gwen Henderson; and sister, Holly Henderson of Blythewood, SC. He is further survived by his brother, Gabriel Morton of Charlotte; his niece and nephew, Tallulah Morton and Oliver Morton; and a large extended family of relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, who now welcome him home.

Christian’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for him and for them. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Charlotte, NC 28227.

May his memory be a blessing, and may those who loved him find comfort in the quiet strength and kindness he shared throughout his life.
