Christine K. Diehl, 73 of Conestoga passed away on Saturday evening, February 14, 2026 at Neffsville Nursing and Rehab Center after continued health declined from Alzheimer's Disease. Born in Lancaster on June 15, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna McMillan Kraft. She was the husband of Robert E. Diehl, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage this past September 6.

Christine graduated in 1970 from J.P. McCaskey High School. She attended Millersville University. Chris had worked for several years for Fulton Bank, first in the Operations Center then becoming at Teller at the Downtown Lancaster Branch. She worked for 27 years for Lancaster Newspapers, retiring in 2018 from the Advertising/Inside Sales Department.

Christine was one of the kindest gentlewomen you would have met. Her main priorities were taking care of her house and being there for her husband, children and grandchildren. She attended as many of her grandchildren activities that her health would allow her to do, she loved them dearly. Yearly trips to Rehoboth Beach with her family was always something that Christine looked forward to. She attended Grace Community Church in Willow Street.

Christine will be deeply missed by her husband Robert of Conestoga; daughter, Cari L. Krause of Washington Boro and son, Clifford A. "Butch" Diehl, husband of Heather of Millersville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Vincent, Evelyn, Alaina and Colton and her sister, Susan Houston, wife of Curtis of Norristown. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward, Jr., Charlie and Gordon Kraft and her sisters, Mary Ann Williams and Karen Kraft.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Christine's memorial service on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 3PM from the Melanie B. Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, 3225 Main Street, Conestoga. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:30PM to 3PM. Interment will be held in the Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.
