Christopher Alvarado
August 24, 1999 – March 3, 2026 (Age 26)
Christopher Alvarado, a quiet and private being to many, was loving and tender to those most important to him. He was admirable, resilient, and passionate throughout his journey in life. A warrior who did not shy away from troubling obstacles, but instead, welcomed them with determination.
Adamant and committed, he ventured along various career choices over the years. Despite the trials and tribulations he faced, he arose and aimed to perform the best in any and all tasks. Whatever the occupation may have been, he delivered passion and dedication, otherwise it wouldn’t have been Chris. Life spewed the worst possible scenarios at him, and yet he persisted.
To Chris, family was above all else, they provided the foundation for his relentless energy and everlasting love. His mother, father, brothers and sisters were his treasures, and not a single thing could seize that from him. He wished to always make them proud, to bring them peace and stability, and to provide a shoulder to lean on at all times. Chris’s character was built upon the unconditional love that was his family. Loyal, inquisitive, courageous, selfless, compassionate, and understanding. These few simple words cannot possibly express the entirety of who Chris was, as there was and will always be so much more to say about him.
To Chris, his fiancée was his best friend and lifelong partner. As contrasting as their personalities may have been, there was an everlasting bond between the two. Without a doubt, Chris exhibited all traits of an ideal husband. He was honest, loyal, respectful, family-centered, supportive, patient, and comforting. Despite his stern and quiet demeanor, he harnessed a caring and loving soul that cannot be compared. His brilliant smile and harmonious laugh could reverse a day full of sorrow and rage. His embrace could heal a thousand wounds in a matter of seconds. His presence alone could yield serenity and relief.
During leisure time, Chris was an all around nerd, as he said himself. He loved video games, particularly Destiny 2, Deus Ex, the Fallout series, Dark Souls series, and really any souls-like games. As a huge fan of horror, he was always diving into the latest spine-chilling movies, shows, and books. If it wasn’t horror, he was enjoying early comedy, sci/fi, and fantasy films and tv series. He practiced Muay Thai, kickboxing, boxing, and a little bit of everything when it comes to grappling. He was a lean machine and a gym head, always expanding upon his current training and workout routines. When he wasn’t indoors, he was outside discovering new trails, mountains, and anything related to outdoors. Some of his wishes were to eventually travel and visit the National Parks, Patagonia regions, as well as Thailand. When Chris wasn’t invested in his usual hobbies, his free time was well spent with loved ones that were dear to him.
An irreplaceable and passionate spirit. A fighter who always fought and battled with immense strength. A son who looked up to his parents the most, and cherished them greatly. A brother who saw his siblings as his world, and wanted nothing but the best for them. A soon-to-be husband that showed nothing less than absolute support and unconditional love. This is who Chris was, is, and always will be.
Chris, we love you, and we will always cherish you.
Our warrior, fly high.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Romans 8:38-39: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
You toiled so hard for those you loved.
You said goodbye to none,
Your spirit flew before we knew,
Your work on earth was done.
We miss you now, our hearts are sore,
As time goes by we miss you more.
Your loving smile, your gentle face:
No one can fill your vacant place.
Your life was love and labor.
Your love for your family true.
You did the best for all of us.
We will always remember you.
