Conrad J. Yetter

Conrad J. Yetter, 88, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023. He was born Aug. 13, 1934, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Conrad and Caroline (Schilling) Yetter. Conrad was a Navy Veteran and served in the Korean War. Prior to his retirement, he was a commercial HVAC mechanic. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department, member of the VFW Post 33, Steamfitters Local 449, American Legion Post 18 and the Slickville Fire Department. In addition to his parents, Conrad was preceded in death by his son, Philip Yetter; his sister, Emma Graham; and the late Pauline (Koshinsky) Yetter. Conrad will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Shirley (Huebner) Yetter; children, Conrad J. Yetter, of Virginia, and Lisa Yetter, of Delmont; daughter-in-law, Denise Yetter, of California; and his sister, Judy Englert, of Pittsburgh.Conrad was a proud grandfather of Amanda Barber, Jessica Yetter and Brittany Yetter; three great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2023, at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, PA 15626 (724-468-1177). A service for Conrad will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Susan Beth Hans officiating, followed by a committal service at the Westmorland County Memorial Park.
