D.June (Seibel) Parry, 94, of Jeannette, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, at her residence. She was born Aug. 29, 1930, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Raymond and B. Eleanor Gongaware Seibel. June was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeannette, was an avid bowler, and secretary or her bowling league, The Uneeks, for over 40 years. She was a member of many card clubs, loved bingo, enjoyed following the Steelers, and was known for baking her Lady Lock cookies, and making pizzas at the former Abbie & Bimbo's in Jeannette, where she worked for many years. 'A beautiful soul left this world but will forever be a part of us. We call her mom, gram, G.G.' In addition to her parents June was predeceased by her husband, C. Richard Parry, in 1988; sisters, Eleanor West, and Bette Taylor; a brother, Raymond Seibel; sons-in-law, Bill Bedont, Denny Kent, and Mark Steiner; and best friend, Sandra Carasia. She is survived by her children, Kathe Bedont (Jeff), Pam Kent, Bev Parry, Rick Parry, Bill Parry (Susan), Jill Steiner (Rick), all of Jeannette, Jim Parry of FL, Patti Kronen (Ron), of Greensburg, Michelle Dornin (Bill), of Grapeville, and Kelle Tolvinski (Stan), of Jeannette; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Robert 'Bob' Seibel, of Jeannette; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friends, Kris and Aleta. June's family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Bridges Hospice and staff, especially Theresa, Erica, Maura, and Marian, for all of their kind and compassionate care. Friends will be received 2 to 7 p.m., Thursday, in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 North 2nd St., Jeannette. A funeral service will take place 11 a.m., Friday, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Susan Luttner officiating. Interment will follow in the Jeannette Memorial Park, Penn Township.
