Dale Adkin
February 18, 1953 - August 18, 2024 (Age 71)
Dale E. Adkin, 71, of Quarryville, entered into rest unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Born in Queens, New York, he was the son of the late Ernest and Evelyn (Thomas) Adkin. He was the loving companion of Susan K. Chapman for over 25 years.
Dale was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, having served during Vietnam. He was a member of the Leathernecks National Motorcycle Club and had worked as a butcher at the former Ferguson and Hassler Supermarket. He was also a fan of the Packers and Steelers. Above all, he was a loving father and grandfather who was actively engaged in the lives of his family.
In addition to his companion, Dale is survived by 3 children: Jenny Nolan, Eric Adkin, Heather Adkin; 8 grandchildren; and a brother, Brian Adkin.
A Funeral Service will take place at Wesley Church, 1104 Kirkwood Pike, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Conestoga Memorial Park.
