Dallie Claudette Ross

Dallie Claudette Ross, 83, joined her heavenly Father on Sunday, August 23, 2026. She was born December 14, 1942, in Monroe, NC, the daughter of Claude Wilson Price and Dallie Hinson Price.
Claudette was a beautician by trade in her early years before transitioning to a bookkeeping career at Ed Griffin Construction Company in Charlotte, NC. There she spent many years building lifelong friendships. She loved to travel and attend concerts, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend during her lifetime.
Claudette was preceded in death by her beloved son, Gregory Howard Ross, of Monroe, NC, with whom she is reunited; two brothers, Donald Lee Price of Monroe, NC, and Boyce Wilson Price of Fayetteville, NC; and two sisters, Lynda Price Johnston of Rock Hill, SC, and Judy Price Moore of Monroe, NC.
Claudette is survived by two grandsons, Andrew Ross of Raleigh, NC, and Joshua Ross (Meredith) of Fleetwood, NC, both from whom she was sadly estranged. She is also survived by countless nieces and nephews from the Carolinas to California who loved her dearly and will miss her deeply.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Friendship Church, 1200 Neely Store Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730, and will be followed by a “Celebration of Life” at 3:00 pm at the same location with Pastor Lynn Shore-Hollis officiating. Memorials may be made to Friendship Church General Fund at the same address.
