Daniel Garcia

August 24, 1980 – August 14, 2026 (Age 45)

Daniel Garcia, 45, of Exeter Township, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 14, 2026. He was the husband of Oisis F. “Icy” (Carmona) Garcia, with whom he shared more than 30 years together.

Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on August 24, 1980, Daniel was the son of Cristobal Garcia Jr. and Providencia (Gonzalez) Garcia.

Dan was a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend who valued family, loyalty, and respect above all else. Naturally curious and always eager to learn, whenever something sparked his interest, Dan would dive in, research it, and teach himself everything he could about it.

He loved spending time with his family, especially playing games and cornhole. Later in life, he discovered a passion for snowboarding and became impressively good at it for a man over 40.

Dan was also a true foodie and self-appointed part-time food critic who loved trying new restaurants and sharing his opinions, whether they were requested or not. He and his family traveled all over in search of the perfect pizza, and a small pizza shop in Kissimmee, Florida, still holds the title of his favorite.

A devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan, Dan looked forward to football season and the excitement that came with every Sunday. Go Birds!

Dan was passionate about personal growth, his work, and achieving the goals he set for himself. One of his greatest dreams was to turn his love and knowledge of HVAC into a business of his own. In May 2025, that dream became a reality when he founded Prime Climate, which he proudly grew alongside his business partner. Dan truly loved what he did and took tremendous pride in what they built together.

Above everything else, Dan’s greatest love was his family and his children. He also had a special place in his heart for bulldogs. He loved them so much that he proudly had a bulldog tattoo and was the proud owner of two bulldogs, Frankie and Sammy.

Dan was kind, generous, genuine, and someone people knew they could confide in. He could always be counted on for honest advice, a heartfelt opinion, or a good laugh. He touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed. Dan will forever be remembered for his loyalty, determination, sense of humor, generous heart, and most of all, the love he gave so freely to those around him.

And if you knew Dan, you probably heard one of his most recognizable expressions: “Sheeesssshh!” Whether it was said in disbelief, excitement, frustration, amusement, or simply because Dan felt like saying it, it was unmistakably him. It was one of those little pieces of Dan that made people laugh and one that will undoubtedly continue to be repeated by the people who loved him for years to come.

Dan is lovingly remembered by his wife, Icy Garcia; his parents, Cristobal Garcia Jr. and Providencia Garcia; his children, Daniel Sergio Garcia, Leilani Marie Garcia, and Isabel Jazmin Garcia; his daughter-in-law, Briana Santiago; and his grandchildren, Daniel Sergio Garcia III and Maellie Eleanor Garcia. He is also survived by his siblings, Cristobal (Ashley Bessemer) Garcia, Jessica (Miguel) Velez, and Xiomara (Kelly Moletress) Garcia.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Following the funeral service, Daniel will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park, 701 Farmington Ave., Pottstown, PA 19464.
