Daniel Ilich

Daniel "Dano" Ilich Jr. , 54, of Herminie, passed away Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 in UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh with his family by his side. He was born Oct. 30. 1969, in Jeannette, son of Daniel Ilich Sr. of Herminie and Janet E. (Frank) Piern of Irwin. He worked for Equitrans Midstream as a Corrosion Manager and was an influential part of the Bravo team. Dano was a member of the Greensburg Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved the outdoors, farming and especially his vegetable garden. In addition to his parents Dano is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Michelle (Graham) Ilich; two brothers, John (Stacey) Ilich of Irwin and Nathan (Gina) Ilich of North Huntingdon; two sisters, Danielle (Rich) Ali of Elizabeth and Anna (Bill) Domonkos of New Stanton; five special nieces and nephews, Emily, Joey, Ryan (Shelby), Bella and Lorelai; two sisters-in-law, Marla (Casey) Butler and Renee (Shawn) Kistler and numerous cousins. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and neighbors and especially his Bravo Team at his work missing his 7 a.m. morning calls. Friends will be received Wednesday Dec. 6th , from 2p.m. to 6p.m. at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., 404 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, PA 15637, 724-446-7251. at which time a service will be held at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with Michael Dahma presiding. Private Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
