Daniel L. Wilson

Daniel L. Wilson, age 78 of North Huntingdon, passed away on June 30, 2026 at his home while surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on June 6, 1948 in Glassport, a son of the late Albert Wilson and Mary Marcus Wilson. Dan was a member of Norwin Christian Church in North Huntingdon. He graduated from Glassport High School. Dan was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Following his military service, Dan was employed as a Pipefitter for US Steel Irvin Works. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle McCann, and three brothers, Al, Bill, and Richard Wilson. He is survived by his beloved wife, Norma Noel Wilson, one son, Nick Wilson (wife, Emily), stepchildren, Harry Castine (wife, Amanda), Melissa Weller (husband, Brian), and Bryan Castine (wife, Carey), one son-in-law, Eric McCann, two granddaughters, Cadence and Brooke Castine, one brother, John Wilson (wife, Terri), and one sister, Midge Liebel. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Monday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 10 AM with interment to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dan's name to Norwin Christian Church.
