David Alan Reynolds

June 26, 1959 - November 11, 2024 (Age 65)

David Alan Reynolds, 65, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly Monday, November 11, 2024 in his home. He was born June 26, 1959 in Henderson, Kentucky, a son of the late James and Connie Ann Metz Reynolds.

Dave was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monongahela. He retired from US Steel Clairton Works after 23 years of employment. He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks #455 in Monongahela where he currently held the position of trustee, and was also a member of the Mon Valley Coin Club. He loved to read and was a big enthusiast for anything history. You could find him on Sunday rooting for the Steelers and in his spare time fishing the local waters or golfing the local courses. Dave had the unique ability to make everyone laugh, he was a friend to all and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Above all, he adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Behanna Reynolds with whom he celebrated 40 years of marriage on August 11, 2024; three sons, Stephen and his wife Bethany Reynolds of Finleyville, Aaron and Jordan Reynolds of Monongahela; three grandchildren, Adalyn, Owen, and Emerson Reynolds; two brothers, Kenneth and his wife Debby Reynolds of Washington, and Michael and his wife Bonnie Reynolds of West Elizabeth.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and his wife Denise Reynolds.

Friends will be received on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Dr. ZayZay Kpadeh, officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.

The B.P.O. Elks #455 will conduct a service on Thursday evening at 7 PM in the funeral home.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the B.P.O. Elks #455, 444 Jackson Street, Monongahela, PA 15063
