David Alan Teters

June 8, 1959 - March 28, 2025 (Age 65)

David Alan Teters, 65, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025. He was a loving father and husband, a proud veteran, and a man of great loyalty to his family and friends.

David is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pamela Jo Teters (Snider), who passed on September 23, 2003. The two were married on October 20, 1990, and together, they raised two wonderful sons, Aaron and Travis.

David is also preceded in death by his parents, James D. (Dave) and Wava Teters, and his infant brother, Albert J. Teters.

He is survived by his sons, Aaron (Emily) Teters of Jamestown, and Travis Teters of Zanesville; his sister, Nora (Dean) Holtsclaw; brother-in-law, Mark (Lori) Snider; his loving girlfriend, Arletta Waites; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

David was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving over 20 years, including deployments during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After his military career, he worked as an owner-operator truck driver and farmer, earning recognition as Mamo Driver of the Year. He was a passionate Harley-Davidson rider, enjoying many trips to Sturgis and other rides across the United States on his 2016 Road Glide. He was a founding member of Zanesville’s H.O.G. chapter.

David will be laid to rest beside his loving wife at Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM, with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Wiliam Thompson & Son Funeral Home in White Cottage, Ohio with Pastor Dean Cole officiating.

David’s greatest joy was his family, and he was always there for his loved ones. His memory will live on in the hearts of his children, family, and friends.
