Dean Harper, 74, of Zanesville, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
Dean was born Donald Dean Harper on February 8, 1950, in Zanesville to the late William Everett and Marie (Wilson) Harper. He graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in English and earned a master's degree in Counseling from Xavier University. He was a teacher for 31 years in the Franklin Local School District and sold real estate for over 20 years. He enjoyed watching his Ohio State Buckeyes and Duke basketball games.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Patricia Harper; his children Doug (Michelle) Harper, and Jill (Bob) Cordell; and his grandchildren Sydney Paris, Zoe Cordell, and Milo Cordell.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dean will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park.
