Debra Ranae Schoolcraft
June 20, 1965 - February 11, 2025 (Age 59)
Debbie was born on June 20, 1965, in Takoma Park, Maryland to parents Ronald and Sharon James. She graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in 1983.
Debbie met Kevin Schoolcraft in first grade and the two began dating their freshman year in high school. They were inseparable ever since. After graduation, Debbie married Kevin on August 4, 1984. They spent 45 years together loving each other endlessly and building a beautiful family. Together, they had two children, Megan and Dillon. Debbie loved being a mom and wife to her family. Debbie was overjoyed when she became "Mamaw" to her three grandchildren, Sadie Jo, Tate and Ezra.
Debbie enjoyed traveling with Kevin and spending time with loved ones. From years at the race track during Kevin's racing career, to countless hours on the ball field cheering and supporting her kids. She was the loudest in the stands and was so proud of them. As her children grew older and had children of their own, Debbie adored and cherished her role as "Mamaw". She and Kevin enjoyed many trips to their beach house in Oak Island with their children and grandbabies. Throughout her life, Debbie was always devoted to her family and prioritized creating lasting memories with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Debbie was resilient and determined. She was a hard worker and was willing to put in extra effort to reach her goals. Debbie knew the importance of instilling the values of faith and family to her children and she was a proud member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Those who knew and loved Debbie will miss her unforgettable loving spirit.
