Delbert Wilber Palmer, 91, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025, in Zanesville at The Oaks of Bethesda. Delbert was born on March 22, 1934, to Homer and Estil Palmer. In addition to his parents, Delbert is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Gladys Palmer; brother, Charles Palmer; sisters, Catherine Swingle, Carol Palmer, Madelyn Fletcher, Marilyn Stockdale, and Daisy Palmer.
Delbert leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Charlene R. Palmer and Nancy A. Palmer; 4 grandchildren, Wesley K. Grissett, Chastity R. Grissett, Kenna K. Kennedy and Marrkys A. Kennedy; 7 great grandchildren, Orion, Corbin, Rowen, Marlee, Cade, Haven, Kamari and Akyiah; sister-in-law, Sandy Rosenberger; well as several other friends and family.
Delbert was a minister of the Church of Christ. He retired from Burham Boiler after years of hard work. Delbert was also the owner of Palmers Better Grease Co. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Delbert will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
You may call on the family on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 10 am until 12pm with services starting at 12 pm at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle St. Zanesville OH 43701. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery will follow the funeral services. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family
