Diana L. Beck
November 12, 1946 – August 6, 2026 (Age 79)
Diana Lee [Putner] Beck, 79, of Sarver, passed away peacefully on the 6th of August, 2026. Diana was born on October 12, 1946.
Diana was happily married for 55 years, and was both a mother of two and grandmother of three. Diana spent a large part of her life caring for her mother, husband, children, and grandchildren. She always put her family first. She worked for Prudential for many years before securing a position at Penn State New Kensington in Finance. She was very proud to support sending her children to college. After she retired from work, she graciously took on the role of caring for her grandchildren daily.
Diana enjoyed traveling with her husband, taking rides in their sports cars, plane, and motorcycles. Her hobbies included collecting jewelry, furniture, china, and glassware.
She is survived by her mother-in-law, Eileen [Burke] Beck, brother-in-law, Gregory Beck, sister-in-law, Barbara Beck, her children, Brian Beck, Krystal [Beck] Bentz, son-in-law, Jeffrey Bentz, and her grandchildren, Abigail Bentz, Tyler Bentz, and Logan Beck. Diana is preceded in death by her late father, John Putner, her late mother, Margaret Putner, her siblings, Jackie Lee Putner, Donna Smith (her twin sister), Roberta Murray, her husband, Roy "Bing" W. Beck, and her daughter-in-law, Rebecca [McCurdy] Beck.
A public viewing will be held Monday, August 10, 2026, from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1000 Freeport Rd, New Kensington, PA. (724-335-0100)
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 12 Noon in the funeral home followed by a committal service at Greenwood Memorial Park, New Kensington, PA.
