Diana Lynn Stallings’ time here on earth ended Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
Born on September 24, 1960, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Harold “Fish” and Betty Jane Nair. She was also preceded in death by brother, Roger Nair; father-in-law, Gilbert Stallings; sisters-in-law, Deborah Stallings, Debbie Stallings, and Debra Stallings; and nephew, Michael Stallings.
Diana was a graduate of the Center for Career & Technical Education, where she specialized in nursing. She attended Allegany Community College, where she studied secretarial work. She spent most of her life caring for her daughter and husband making sure they had a wonderful life.
Diana enjoyed going out on the weekend to the Legion and singing a good karaoke song. She followed her husband, Mark, with his Western Maryland Eight Ball League. She enjoyed hanging out with her wonderful friends dancing the night away. On weekends, she enjoyed relaxing by the lake at Little Meadows Campground. She loved entertaining and hosting family and friends. Diana also enjoyed taking road trips to visit her grandchildren so she could spoil them rotten.
There wasn’t a stranger when it came to Diana. She loved to talk to anyone she met. She was sweet and kind. She will be missed by many dearly.
Diana is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Mark A. Stallings; her daughter, Toni Lynn Hochard and husband Gregory; grandchildren, Hailey and Austin; brother Ronald Nair and wife Linda, brothers-in-law, Russell Stallings, Gary Stallings and fiancé Roberta, Pete Stallings, Jody Stallings, Tom Stallings and wife Mary, Gilbert Stallings and wife Jody; sisters-in-law, Maria Stallings, Tami Stallings, and Monica Davis and husband Rob. Diana is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews on the Stallings side of the family.
Family and friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, on Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home, Cresaptown, on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
