Dick Lohr
August 23, 1942 - January 28, 2025 (Age 82)
Dick Lohr, 82, of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Pennknoll Village, Everett.
Dick was born in Napier Twp, on August 23, 1942, son of the late Earl and Margaret (Frazier) Lohr.
On September 25, 1965, he married his wife Karen G. (Gramling) Lohr, of Schellsburg.
He is survived by daughter- Melissa G. Lohr-Sturtz wife of Thomas, of Schellsburg; son- Richard S. husband of Marcia (Roby) Lohr, of Schellsburg; son- Bradley D. husband of Brianna (Rose) Lohr, of Schellsburg; ten grandchildren: Marcus, Kortni, Cody, Kyle, Mya, Heyligh, Tyler, Earl, Jackalynn and Khloe; along with five great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Abigayle, Riley, Jayce and Blake. Dick is preceded in death by three brothers: Brady, Leyn, Dean.
Dick was a member of Schellsburg United Church of Christ, Bedford Masonic Lodge, Bedford Moose Lodge 480, and Tri County Truckers. He was a truck driver, who worked at Penn Dot, Sani-Dairy and was the Napier Twp Supervisor. He enjoyed farming, spending time with his grand and great grandchildren. Dick always made a point to go to all the kids' sporting events, and coached Little League Baseball. He loved hunting, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and working with horses.
A viewing will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 10-11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg with Pastor Linda Kibler officiating.
Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.
