Dolores Krisher

April 17, 1937 - November 5, 2025 (Age 88)

Dolores “Dee” (Sobek) Krisher, of East McKeesport, peacefully passed on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the age of 88, with her loving family at her side. Dee was the devoted wife of the late George E. Krisher, and beloved mother of James (Betsy) Krisher and the late George (surviving Tracey) Krisher. Dee loving grandma of Anthony (Caroline) Krisher, Sarah (Brian) Krisher, Samuel Krisher, Zachary (Lindsay) Krisher, Cullen Krisher, Elliot (Shaelah) Krisher and Reilly Krisher; adoring great-grandma of 7. Dee is also survived by her step-brother James (Virginia) Franks, numerous nieces and nephews, her lifelong friend, Peggy Trifanoff her special friend and hairstylist of 30 years, Mercedes, and many all who loved her. In addition to her husband, George E., and her son George L., she was preceded in passing by her mother, Margaret (Toth) Sobek, father, Albert Sobek, step-mother, Rosalie Sobek, and brother, Larry (surviving Helena) Sobek.

Dee spent much of her life traveling around the country as an Army Wife. She worked as a housekeeper for Cornerstone Television for numerous years. She spent her later years as a caretaker for many family members and friends. Dee was well known for her sense of style, her favorite recipes, her beautiful and sweet soul, her caring personality and how she always put others before herself. Dee had a great mind for numbers and dates which led to her love of playing lottery numbers and Yahtzee. Her luck with scratch offs was legendary. Her greatest love was her adored sons, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and all the time she spent with them. She touched the hearts of all.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dee can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or a Veteran charity of your choice.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 2pm to 8pm at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10am at St. Jude the Apostle Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Wilmerding. Dee will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, George, at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
