Dolores Safran

Dolores “Cookie” Safran, 91, of Westmoreland City, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in the Golden Heights Personal Care Home, Penn Twp. She was born September 25, 1930, in Shafton, a daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Loscotch Brozack). Cookie was active in the Westmoreland City Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, and the Norwin Elks.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Safran in 2008; brothers Pete, George and her twin brother Thomas Brozack; and sisters, Kate Snyder, Margaret Brozack, Agnes Thomas, and Helen Belfiglio.
Cookie is survived by her son John T. Safran and wife Donna, a grandson John Joseph Safran, all of McDonough GA.; a sister Shirley Cagle of Irwin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received 4 to 7pm Sunday, in the John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 228 North 2nd St. Jeannette. A funeral service will take place 11:00am Monday in the funeral home chapel with Donn Ed officiating. Interment will follow in the Jeannette Memorial Park, Penn Twp.
