Donald Miller

Donald Miller, age 85 of Canal Winchester, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on November 23, 2025.

Don was born on October 16, 1940, in Columbus Ohio to the late George and Susan Miller. He was preceded in death by daughter Leanna Miller, granddaughter Evelyn Stedman, and 14 brothers and sisters.

Don is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of 32 years, Susan Stedman. Together, they enjoyed many years of travel, spending time with their blended family and creating enough memories to last a lifetime. Don is also survived by his children, Donald Miller, Lynette (Tim) Morris, Sherry (Dan) DiGiannantoni, Jennifer (Shawn) Miller, Tom (Andrea) Stedman, John (Kim) Stedman, Rob (Kelly) Stedman, and Jane Stedman. He was a cherished papa to 32 grandchildren as well as several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother Ed (Barb) Miller and Russ (Virginia) Miller.

Don spent over 60 years working in the transportation and logistics industry. He lived life to the fullest every day. Don had a passion for the water and adored boating and fishing. He cherished time spent at the family lake house and never turned down a hand of cards, a good bottle of bourbon, or a Buckeyes game.

An afternoon visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W Waterloo St, Canal Winchester, OH 43110, with an evening visitation held at the funeral home on the same day from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service will follow on Friday, November 28th at 11:00 AM at Hope United Methodist Church, 83 E Columbus St. Canal Winchester, OH 43110. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
