Donna Lee Japalucci, 74, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital. Born on November 16, 1950, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of the late Lincoln William Sprung and Virginia Ann (Rhea) Sprung. She was also preceded in death by her step-son, Robert P. Japalucci, whom she loved as her own.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Robert M. Japalucci; her devoted children, Lori Wilson (Scott), Brian Spong, and Rebecca Jones (Kenny); grandchildren, Brianna Eye (Tim), Brenden Eye (Cayla), Kylie Jones (Jacob), Chase Jones, Gage Jones, Colten Jones, and Allisyn Craig; great-grandson, Tanner Jones; her beloved brother, Charles Sprung (Judy); sisters-in-law, Eva Japalucci (Ken) and Teresa McCullough (Jeff); brother-in-law, Charles Japalucci (Kim); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donna lived a life defined by love, kindness, and quiet strength. She was the heart of her family—a woman known for her selfless spirit and her ability to find joy in life’s simple moments. She measured her wealth in love, always making sure everyone around her was cared for, happy, and treated with kindness and fairness. Her greatest joys were found in creating memories - from cherished family vacations to quiet trips to her camp. Life’s best moments sometimes evolved from her deep and gentle love for animals or a simple dip in the pool.
Donna’s greatest joy and proudest achievements were her children and grandchildren. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family and friends, always going above and beyond for those she loved. Her warmth and generosity drew people in, and she was always ready with a listening ear, a word of comfort, or a comforting hug.
Donna was affiliated with Harrold Zion Lutheran Church in Greensburg.
