Donna L. Pennington
September 1, 1946 – June 23, 2026 (Age 79)
Donna L Pennington 79 of Mckeesport died peacefully Saturday morning at her home surrounded by love ones. Born September 18th 1946 in Cleveland Tennessee to the late Herbert Dalton and Mildred B Dalton she later relocated to McKeesport where she met the love of her life William Hale Pennington, raised her family and spent 20 years working as a social worker for the McKeesport Salvation Army.
She always loved helping people especially around Christmas time with the Angel tree program providing toys and food to families in need. She loved to curl up and read a good book she has quite an extensive Library collection, she also enjoyed spending time with her faithful companion Foxy. She was also a great cook and loved providing meals for her family during the holidays.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband William Hale Pennington of almost 50 years, her sister Katherine R McLaughlin & her brother Lester R Dalton. She is survived by her daughter Tammy Pennington, & her sons David (Christy Johnson), Pennington, Robert (Brenda) Pennington, & Steven Pennington all of McKeesport. 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Friends and family are welcome to say goodbye at Willigs Funeral Home & Crematory.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
