Doris Jean Kelly
July 2, 1942 – March 29, 2026 (Age 83)
Born on July 2, 1942, to the late Raymond and Alma (Beitler) Taylor, Doris Jean left this world peacefully on March 29, 2026. Mourning her passing are her beloved children, Beth Lindsey (Gordon), James Kelly (Susan), Dawn Kelly (Francisco de Abreu), and Brian Kelly; brothers, David Taylor (Reta), Edward Taylor (Kathy), Richard Taylor (Glenda), and Dale Taylor (Judy); sisters, Beverly Riggs and Jacqueline Thornton (Tom); grandchildren, Taylor (Bobby), Margot, Addison, Connor, Blaise, Mary Catalina, Laiken, and Wilson; great-grandchildren, Novah and Pearce; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond "Sonny" Taylor Jr. Doris Jean enjoyed gardening, baking, and spending time with her family. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, Doris Jean graduated from East McKeesport High School and later earned a nursing degree. Although she spent the last decades of her life in Texas, she always considered Pennsylvania her home. Doris Jean will be interred next to her cherished parents at Penn Lincoln Cemetery in North Huntingdon. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
