Doris Mae Fuller, 96, passed away peacefully on Jan. 31, 2026. She was born on Jan. 7, 1930, in Chatham, Va., to the late Robert and Nell i e Moorman Goggins. She made Donora, Pa., home with her late husband, A.C. Fuller Sr. Doris retired from Charland Sportswear in Speers, Pa. She remained a lifelong member and devoted deaconess of First Baptist Church of Donora. Her faith guided her life, and every family member knew she prayed for them daily. She was also a proud member of the Foster Grandparent Program of Southwestern Pennsylvania, earning recognition for her compassionate service to special children. Family meant everything to Doris, and she delighted in time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, offering constant love, wisdom and encouragement. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, watching Lifetime movies and gathering with friends for lunch at the Donora Senior Center. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Doris always put others before herself. To know her was to love her. In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Howard; brothers, Henry Goggins, Roy Goggins, Willie Goggins, James Goggins and Lewis Goggins; and sisters, Sarah Long, Mary Peatross, Emma Kate Coles and Gladys Womack. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Fuller of Jacksonville, Fla., Margaret James of Pittsburgh, Linda Fuller of Donora, Joyce (Rodney) Merritt of Monessen, Shirley Smith of Columbus, Ohio, and Acee Fuller Jr. of Pittsburgh; brother, Bennie Goggins of Petersburg, Va.; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to The Willows of Presbyterian SeniorCare and Suncrest Hospice for their exceptional care and support. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 230 Reed Ave., Monessen, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
