Doris Mae Ustazewski

Doris Mae (Mitchell) Ustazewski, 89, of Herminie, PA, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at her home. She was born July 7, 1932 in Herminie, PA. Daughter of the late John and Mae (Hopkin) Mitchell. Doris was a graduate of the former Sewickley Township High School Class of 1950. She was a lifetime member of the Downtown United Methodist Church in Herminie, PA. Doris was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a great cook and baker; making delicious Hoho cakes and pear pies that she would freeze to eat in the winter time. She loved to watch game shows, enjoyed crafting; making pinecone wreaths for her family and enjoyed listening to country and polka music. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing piano and roller skating at the rink in Herminie, PA; where she met her husband. She is preceded in death by both parents, loving husband of 62 years – Alexander J. Ustazewski and two sisters – Jean Zorosak and Hazel Beljan. She is survived by three sons – Alexander Ustazewski Jr. and wife Paula of Irwin, PA, John Ustazewski and wife Sharon of Arona, PA and Gene Ustazewski and wife Annette of Greensburg, PA and two grandchildren – Cody Alexander Ustazewski and Ashley Mae Ustazewski. Friends will be received Friday, July 23, 2021 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Main St. Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Sweet officiating. Interment will follow at the Westmoreland Memorial Park Cemetery.
