Doris Watson

Doris June Granat Watson was called home to the Lord on November 20, 2022, at the age of 90. Doris was born in Jeannette, PA on May 26, 1932, the daughter of Anthony and Romaine Granat. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Myrle Watson who passed in 2001 and her brother Kenneth Granat. She is survived by her sister Carol Granat Stewart who resides in Florida with her husband James Stewart III. Myrle and Doris were married on July 1, 1951, and their union produced three children Karen Watson Nescot of Lititz, PA, wife of Edward, Thomas Watson of Hannastown, PA, husband of Connie, and Timothy Watson, Greensburg, PA, husband of Tina. She had seven grandchildren Melody Stuckey, Edward Nescot, Brennan Watson, Trevor Watson, Tanner Watson, and Tyler Watson, and two great-grandchildren Travis Stuckey and Kayla Stuckey. Doris worked for Gray Accounting of Jeannette for many years. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Jeannette. She enjoyed playing the piano and baking cookies for her grandchildren. She was a resident of Westmoreland Manor in Greensburg where she was cared for by an excellent staff. The family wishes to extend its appreciation to the staff of the Fourth Floor Unit.
