Dorothy M. Costner

Rock Hill, SC – Dorothy Mae Costner, 91, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center.
Dorothy was born in York County and was the daughter of the late Dalmar Morris and the late Nancy Poag Morris. Dorothy worked for C&S Bank for forty-three years and also at Jackson Carpet. She was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church for fifty years and a member of the Ambassadors Gospel Quartet. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F Costner.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Ignite Church of Rock Hill, 1105 Eden Terrace with Rev. John Monteith officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M until time of service at the church.
Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Carol Costner (Eddie) Pittman of Lake Wylie, SC, and Evonne Costner Walters of Rock Hill, SC; her five grandchildren, Brian Pittman (Judy), Kristi Pittman Bisignano (Tom), Ann Pittman Ives (Jeremy), Brandon Walters, and Josh Walters; and her six great-grandchildren.
