Dorothy M. Easter, 96, of Donahoe Manor Road, formerly of Manns Choice passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, in Bedford Twp.
Mrs. Easter was born in Somerset County on July 21, 1925, daughter of the late Pius and Pearl (Ellenberger) Myers.
Dorothy married Charles W. Easter on December 26, 1944, he preceded her in death on June 4, 1994.
Dorothy is survived by 4 daughters- Carol Ann wife of Eugene Wade, Lancaster; Wanda E. wife of Ted Tew, Bedford; Brenda G. Easter, TN; and Cheryl K. wife of Matthew Maciorkoski, Duncannon; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and sister Betty Shaffer of Bedford. Along with her parents and husband, Charles she was preceded in death by 2 sisters- Evelyn and Norma Jean and a brother- Donald.
Dorothy was a great seamstress and worked at Lion Manufacturing as a sewer, she also worked at the Coach Room Restaurant.
Mrs. Easter was a member of the Manns Choice Church of God.
Dorothy was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend who brought great joy to the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from Noon-2PM at the Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg with a Funeral Service at 2PM with Pastor Richard Whetstone officiating.
Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
