Dorothy Musgrove

Dorothy Mae Musgrove, 91, of Brinkerton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021. Born March 18, 1930, in Luxor, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth (Lee) Montgomery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Musgrove Sr.; her sisters, Sarah Eisaman and Hazel Garufi; and two brothers, Walt and Joe Montgomery. Dorothy is survived by her three children, John (Bonnie) Musgrove Jr., of Greensburg, Jacqueline Sherba, of Brinkerton, and Danny (Joyce) Musgrove, of Simpsonville, S.C.; eight grandchildren, Mark, Todd, Nicole, Heather, Brian, Billie Jo, Crystal and Danielle; 13 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jenna, William, Wyatt, Madison, Adalynn, Morgan, Breann, David Jr., Cassidy, Jacob, Olivia and Ashton; and many nieces and nephews and her caregiver and friend, Susan. She also is survived by her feline best friend, Watermelon, that will miss her dearly. Dorothy loved to cook, bake and had a loving heart for all animals. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME. Dorothy's funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Dale L. Porterfield officiating. Entombment will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
