Dorothy Smith
February 16, 1931 - August 26, 2024 (Age 93)
Dorothy L. Smith, 93, of Denver, PA formerly of Hopeland, PA entered eternal rest on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Faithfull Living Nursing Home, Denver, PA. She was the widow of Amos Smith who died in 2003. Dorothy was the daughter of the late John Forman and Mable E. (Moore) Dill.
She worked for Fulton Bank as a Teller from 1980 until her retirement in 1993.
Dorothy enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, fishing, camping, and spending time with her cats. Her greatest love and favorite thing to do was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Terry L. Smith (Susan) of Holtwood, PA, and Glenn L. Smith (Darla) of Hopeland; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael D. and Lynn Smith, and half-sisters, Patricia Robalik, and Elizabeth Mayer.
A Graveside Service will be held at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 2nd Lock Road, PA, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Bryce Stone officiating.
