Duane Bunker

Duane Bunker, 83, of Zanesville, died at 7:20 P.M. Friday, November 12, 2021 at Altercare of Zanesville. He was born May 8, 1938 in Zanesville, a son of the late Charles L. and Katherine Brock Bunker. Duane was a longtime member, Deacon an Elder at Trinity United Presbyterian Church and retired from Anchor Glass after 43 years of service. He was a member of United Commercial Travelers, Zamora Club and hauled the local Amish to their destinations.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Diane Frick Bunker, whom he married September 3, 1966, two twin daughters, Denise Bunker and Danelle (Raymond) Murphy; three grandchildren, Hope (Tyler) Copeland, Stephen (Tricia) Murphy and Hannah Murphy; three grandchildren, Mary Murphy, Josephine Murphy and Charlotte Murphy; a brother, Romney (Bev) Bunker; three sisters, Yvonne Grear, Andrea (Mike) Finan and Veta Welsh; brother-in-law, David (Elva) Frick; two sisters-in-law, Jean (Grant) Kearns and Helen Shoemaker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Jean Bunker; granddaughter, Cheyenne Morosco; brother, Perry Bunker and a nephew, Chad Frick.
Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 830 Military Road, Zanesville with Pastor Deb Bowser officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park, Zanesville.
