E. Arlene Swavely
October 11, 1926 - March 1, 2025 (Age 98)
E. Arlene Beideman Swavely (age 98) passed away on Saturday, March 1. She is survived by her son David Swavely, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two nieces. She was a 1944 graduate of Pottstown High School and became a well-known friendly face in her 40 years as a banker with Philadelphia National Bank (later Corestates) of Pottstown. After retirement she worked for the Pottstown YMCA for 18 years, retiring from there in 2012.
A private graveside funeral will be held at Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown. Condolences and/or requests to attend the funeral may be directed to David at daveswavely@comcast.net or 610-952-9124.
