Edith M. Fallavollitti

Edith M. Fallavollitti, 96, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, September 6, 2022, in her home. She was born November 23, 1925, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Anthony and Pauline (Palangio) Viziola. Prior to retirement she had been employed by Troutmans Department Store for 30 years. She was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg and the church’s Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary since 1947 and was a member of the L.O.O.M and Catholic Daughters of America. Edith enjoyed volunteering at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, dancing, and was always noted for her cooking and baking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel F. “Moe” Fallavollitti; infant daughter, Carol Ann; her brother, Jimmy Viziola; and two sisters, Judy Viziola and Mary Fredo. She is survived by three daughters, Dena Payne, of Atlanta, GA, Denise Raneri and husband Donald, of Bear Rocks, and Debbie Jordan and husband Ray, of Greensburg; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; her sister, Pauline Meade, of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy will begin at 11 AM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
