Edith Jeanette Williams

Edith Jeanette Williams, age 88, passed away peacefully on Monday August 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Jeanette was born on May 21, 1938, in Jenkins, Kentucky to the late Crit and Carmen (Looney) Belcher. As well as her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Williams of 66 years, and siblings, Curtis (Barbara), Jackie (Glen), Donnie (Gladys), Geneva (Gene), Hermon (Connie), Phylis (Winston), and Winston. Jeanette is survived by her four sons, Gregory (Glenda), Gary (Vicki), Gordon (Angie), and Jeff (Brenda); 9 grandchildren: 16 great grandchildren: and 9 great great grandchildren; brother, Arthur (Doris); sisters, Joyce (Jerry), and Judy (John); many nieces and nephews and friends. Jeanette operated Williams Tax Services, where she worked tirelessly for nearly 40 years. Jeanette was loved by her family and friends. She was strong woman with a gentle soul, great cook, hard worker, and very generous. Jeanette will be greatly missed by her loving family and all who knew her. Visitation for Jeanette will be Wednesday August 12, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at O.R.Woodyard Co. South High St. Chapel 1346 S. High St. Columbus, OH. 43207 where funeral services will be held Thursday August 13, 2026, at 11:00 am. Pastor Konan Stephens officiating. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
