Elaine Curtis Mazyck
March 9, 1947 - August 6, 2022 (Age 75)
On March 9th, 1947 in Caldwell county NC, Elaine Curtis Mazyck (Rue), entered the world, a beautiful daughter of Berkley Hass and Lucy Curtis. She was educated in the public schools of Caldwell County and earned her Nursing degree at Presbyterian School of Nursing.
Elaine was a faithful member of Oakhurst Baptist Church until she could no longer attend services because of Parkinson disease and was a former employee of Carolina Medical Center for over 40 years. She was a gregarious lady and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her generous nature and loving personality will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herman Mazyck Sr. and four daughters Paula, Vannesa, Regina and Gwendolyn.
Loving memories will be cherished by sons, Herman Mazyck, Maurice Mazyck (Michelle) and Robert Mazyck (Nicole); three daughters, Harriette Cureton, Denise Oji and Tanya Cureton (Ronald); (21) grandchildren; (34) great-grandchildren; (3) great, great children; other relatives and many friends.
