Elaine Kay Winesette (Renner) passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, in New Albany, Ohio, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. Born on December 6, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, Elaine's warm spirit and gentle presence were a blessing to all who knew her.
Elaine's journey began as a graduate of Brookhaven High School, where she met the love her life, Bill Winesette. Bill and Elaine were married soon after high school on June 5, 1971, and their marriage endured until Bill's passing in 2023. In addition to raising her children her career was marked by a profound commitment to serving others, first at Forest Edge Church as a secretary then at the Pregnancy Decision Health Center and finally as a bus driver for New Albany City Schools. Elaine's work was more than a job; it was a testament to her loving nature and her dedication to her community.
Family was the cornerstone of Elaine's world. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bill, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories. Elaine's legacy lives on through her devoted children, April Zwick and her husband Rob, Chris Winesette and his wife Amy, Kimberly Love and her husband Jared. Elaine's role as a grandmother was one of her greatest joys, as she showered love and wisdom upon her granddaughters Emylie, Madison, Eva, Kaylee, Daisy, and Piper, and grandsons Luke, Ethan, Cole, and Ezra. The birth of her great-granddaughter Iris added a new layer of joy to Elaine's later years. Her four-legged companion, Charlie, was also a source of comfort and friendship, staying by her side through thick and thin.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Elaine will remember her as the epitome of kindness and gentleness. Her loving nature was the thread that wove through every interaction and relationship. As we bid farewell to Elaine, we take solace in the countless memories and the profound impact she had on our lives.
