Eleanor Haluck

Eleanor Haluck, 92, of Greensburg, formerly of Jeannette, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at her residence. She was born September 27, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY., a daughter of the late Eleanor Larson. Prior to her retirement Eleanor was a clerk for the former Aleo Pharmacy in Jeannette, and worked for Bell Telephone in Jeannette and Greensburg. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeannette, and the church’s Sunshine Class and Senior Center. Eleanor was also an avid card player and enjoyed playing with her Ladies Card Club since 1954.

In addition to her parents Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Stanley C. Haluck in 2006; a sister Phyllis Foltz; a brother James Painter; and a grandson Stephen Alexander in infancy.

She is survived by her children, Tina Haluck Nawn, and husband Hugh, of NJ., and Stanley Keith Haluck and wife Linda, of FL.; grandchildren, Christopher Haluck (Tracy), Rhesa Haluck, Rachael and Sarah Nawn, and Hugh Nawn, Jr.; great grandchildren, Sgt. Christopher Gallik, Timothy Haluck, Steven Haluck (Khaliah), Alexander Parees, Makenzie Haluck, Emma Robinson, Jackson Tidd, Sheamus Tidd, Liam Newcomb, and Landyn Stinebiser; a great great grandchild Amariana Lee Green; a sister Karen Lenton and husband David, of CA.; a sister-in-law Karen Painter; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received 5 to 7pm Sunday, December 22, 2024, in the John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 228 North 2nd St. Jeannette. A funeral service will take place 11:00am Monday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Susan Luttner officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park, Hempfield Twp.
