Ellen Meacham
June 2, 1947 - February 5, 2022 (Age 74)
Ellen “Noel” Marie (Kucera) Meacham, 74 peacefully passed away February 5, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was born June 2, 1947, in North Versailles (Green Valley). She was the beloved wife and best friend of Donald L. Meacham. Devoted mother of Lesa M. Toncich ~ husband John Toncich and Jolene Bogdan ~ husband Blair Bogdan. Doting grandmother of Dominic Toncich, Parker Bogdan, Cooper Bogdan, and Spencer Bogdan. Loving sister to Marlene Kucera, Duane Kucera ~ wife Jackie Kucera. She will be greeted into the loving embrace of her parents Irvine and Doris (Mull) Kucera in the afterlife.
Ellen was a graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School, Class of 1965. In her early years she was a part time model for Gimbels Department Store and eventually found a career in banking with McKeesport National Bank. Most of her later years were spent in management and finance at Western School of Health and Business.
She will be especially remembered for her beautiful commitment to her loving family, it was exemplified by her home that was so warm and welcoming. Her eyes crinkled when she laughed, she made every holiday special with her traditions, amazing cookies and treats. Also, gave the best hugs! Her optimism and hope allowed her to bloom wherever life planted her.
Ellen will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune to know her. A celebration of her incredible life will be held on Tuesday, from 4pm to 8pm at Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10am. Ellen will be laid to rest at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
