Emily Blanche McNally, 81 of Bedford, died on Thursday, December 15, 2022. She was born on April 23, 1941 in Halifax, Nova Scotia a daughter of the late Louis Z. and Marie (Marchand) LeBlanc. On June 14, 1969 in Roaring Spring, she married Chester C. “Pete” McNally and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2011. She is survived by three sons; Patrick D. Drysdale of Martinsburg; James M. Drysdale and wife Laurie of Martinsburg; and John K. Drysdale and wife Cynthia of Bedford; five grandchildren: Jamie Mountain and husband Dwayne; LTCD Joshua Drysdale and wife Lindsay; CW3 Zachary Drysdale and wife Sara; Meghan and husband CPT Daniel Fairchild and Jenna Drysdale. Also surviving are 11 great grandchildren; Devon, Emily Jude and Laney Mountain, Isabella, Jackson, Millie Drysdale; Nellie, and June Fairchild; Evelyn Drysdale; Aria Orner and Roman Walter; one brother, Michael LeBlanc and wife Clarissa of Prospect, Nova Scotia; five sisters: Shirley McKenzie widow of Jack of Halifax, Nova Scotia; Yvonne Gage and husband Eddy of Halifax, Nova Scotia; Betty MacDonald and husband Brian of Alberta, Canada; Linda Gage and husband Michael of Ontario, Canada; and Janet LeBlanc of Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was preceded in death by one brother Henry LeBlanc.
She retired in 2007 after being co-owner with her husband from Keystone Insulator Cleaner Inc.
She enjoyed cooking, being outside, attending to her garden, sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with the Rev. Jeff Peeler officiating. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park. Friends will be received on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
