Emma Lou (Harper) Sasala

of Delmont died unexpectedly on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the age of 81. She was born on July 6, 1940 in Penn, PA. Emma Lou loved the Lord Jesus Christ, and she also loved her family, especially her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. She loved her jewelry, and regardless of the occasion you would always find her dressed beautifully. Emma Lou is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Mitchell Sasala, Jr.; her son, Mitchell Christian Sasala; her daughter-in-law, Laura Kathryn Sasala (Schadle); her granddaughter, Ava Elizabeth Sasala; and her grandson, Luke Christian Sasala. She is preceded in death by parents, Carl Edward Harper and Ethel Pauline (Terrill) Harper; sisters, Carol Greer and Nancy Burk; and brother, Gerald Harper. Friends will be received Monday, January 10, 2022, 5-7 PM at Bash-Nied-Jobe Funeral Home, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont (724-468-8381) where services will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, 10:30 AM with Pastor Joshua Franklin officiating. Per the family's request, masks are required. Interment will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Open Door Baptist Church, 970 North Main Street, Greensburg, PA 15601.
