Esper Nasim, age 82, of Donora, PA, passed Sunday, June 2, 2024, at his home in Donora, PA.
He was born in Donora, PA on May 15,1942, the son of the late Elias Nasim and Hapsey (Esper) Nasim.
Esper was a veteran of the US Navy serving as an Aviation Machinist's Mate (J) 2/c on the USS FORRESTAL.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Abdo Nasim and Abraham "Abe" Nasim.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his nieces, Diana Broggi, Nadine Smith and Renee Lafferman; several cousins, great nieces, great nephews and his many friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Thursday, June 6, 2024. Funeral service will be at funeral home at 12:00 PM, with Rev. Fr. Stephan Gresh and Cantor Peter Merella officiating.
Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
Mon Valley Honor Guard and Firing Squad will accord full military rites.
